It circulates warm air throughout the enclosure/storage area. The warm air rises and pushes the heavier moist air to the bottom thus creating a stable environment. With this constant air circulation process, it eliminates dampness and foul smell and the content in the closet or other enclosure will be protected from rust, mildew etc., as well as dries out any moist air within the enclosed area.
DRI-ROD dehumidifier is unique in that it is made of unbreakable materials. No glass tubes are used, in our manufacturing process.
All the rods are tested and have a surface temperature of about 50°C. At this temperature the rod will not damage any of the contents in your storage.
DRI-ROD should be installed in a low horizontal position at the bottom level. It can be mounted to the vertical wall using mounting brackets and screws.
DRI-ROD can be operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This rod draws minimum wattage when in operation, about the same as a night light in your room.

Safety Precautions:
- This rod is to be used indoors and is not intended for outdoor use.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
- Do not operate rod in presence of explosives or flammable fumes.
- Do not operate the rod if cord or unit is damaged in any manner.
- Do not touch rod after it is plugged in. To reposition, unplug and let it stand for 15 minutes to cool. The rod only heats up to 50°C. which may feel very hot to some people.
